At the very top of my list is the Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup. I spent the summer lusting after the Diorskin Nude BB Creme, but since the weather is getting cooler and I'm happy with my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, I've decided it's the foundation I truly want. If a foundation promises to give me a glow, I'm all over that. This foundation supposedly has translucent pigments in it, so it allows the skin's natural radiance to shine through rather than covering the skin like a mask. I've been going back and forth between this and the new Dior Star Fluid Foundation. They sound similar so I'll just have to ask about them in store before I make a final decision if I decide to get one.
I'm going to have to take a trip to a MAC counter as well, as I've got a few products from there on my list. I'd like to try another Lip Pencil, as I said in my September Favorites, that is a lighter and pinker version of Whirl. I also have a few lipsticks on my list: Velvet Teddy, a matte brown-toned nude (I am all over this trend recently), Patisserie, a sheer neutral pink, and Plumful, a sheer plum. I've also been wanting to try the Prep & Prime Lip since reading a post on Vivianna Does Makeup that mentioned it, and the "Essiebutton effect" is in full force, making me think I need the Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Groundwork.
I'm also looking for a nice highlighter. Since the weather is cooling down, I like adding in the highlighting step to keep my skin looking glowy when my natural radiance (read: sweat) isn't kicking in. I have TheBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer, and it's just beautiful, but as this is the only one I own I'd like to add a more natural option into my stash. On my list to try out in the store are Benefit's Watt's Up and Girl Meets Pearl, and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light.
The last thing on my list is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. I've been debating buying this for the longest time. It gets such rave reviews, but right now I'm happy with using the Brow Wiz. But after hearing that a few girls I know use it and always thinking their eyebrows look perfect in all of their Instagram photos, I just might have to try it for myself. It would be nice if this could replace my Brow Wiz because I'm sure it would last so much longer.
So it seems like I'll have to do a bit of prioritizing on this inevitable shopping trip to avoid spending my life savings - wish me luck!
