This month has been all about the skin for me. At the beginning of the month my skin threw a bit of a tantrum, so all of my favorites this month were things I was using to get it looking back to its normal self.
The product release I was most excited about this month was Glossier's take on serums, The Supers* (review). I've been using all three in my daily skincare routines, and I've been loving what they're doing for my skin. I use Super Glow each morning followed by a little bit of Super Bounce to get my skin looking awake and plumped and ready for makeup. And at night, I've been using the Super Pure again followed by Super Bounce. I think the Super Pure (niacinamide & zinc) really helped soothe my skin and shrink my breakouts - it might be my favorite of the three. If you want to pick up The Supers or anything else from Glossier, you can go to glossier.com/reps/kelsey to get 20% off your first order (details here)!
The other skincare bit I've been loving this month has been the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox & Brighten Mask. I've been pleasantly surprised with this one - it's thicker and creamier than any charcoal mask I've tried, so it's able to thoroughly purify my skin without making it feel dry, chalky, or tight. I definitely prefer this to the Origins charcoal mask!
To take care of my dark circles this month I've been relying on the Onomie Bright Concealing Elixir* (review). It's a skincare-makeup hybrid that not only covers dark circles, but works to eliminate them over time. Despite being a lightweight, creamy consistency, it does a really good job of covering the darkness under my eyes. And it doesn't get dry or cakey, and it doesn't crease.
To conceal the rest of the blemishes and redness on my face, I've been going for the combination of the Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Yellow and the Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer (review). The duo really helps to correct the redness in my skin and give it one even tone without looking like I'm caked in makeup - it works well on both minimal makeup days and on days when I'm wanting to zhush it up a little.
The last skin bit I've been relying on this month has been the Dior Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup. I re-discovered this in my collection this month and fell in love all over again. It's such a beautiful foundation - it gives a medium coverage that I tend to sheer out a little, and it sets to a skin-like finish. It's not dewy nor matte, but somewhere in between. It lets the skin's natural luminosity shine through without feeling greasy or tacky.
